Van Halen Meets Bad English

It’s Bad English meets Van Halen. Neal Schon and Deen Castronovo, of Bad English, have teamed with Sammy Hagar and Van Halen’s Michael Anthony for a supergroup with a working name of Planet Us. Hagar’s Web site and Schon, via the Journey Web site, both say the group has completed a two-song demo tape at Hagar’s home in Marin County, Calif.

One song, tentatively called “Vertigo,” will be presented for consideration on the “Spiderman” soundtrack this summer.

The group wants to tour but will have to schedule around Hagar and Journey, both of whom plan individual tours this summer.
