The Swellers planning a fall house show tour

The Swellers

In support of their new album to be released this fall, The Swellers are planning a house show tour. However, they need fans’ help to book these shows, so check out their statement below, and if you think you can help out, email  [email protected].

To celebrate the release of our new album in the fall, in addition to a small handful of CD release club shows across the country, we’ve decided to do a tour largely based on house shows. This will be a tremendous undertaking, but I’m pretty sure with your help we can make it happen.

Playing basements, garages, and living rooms is where we got our start in the early 2000’s. Even on recent bigger tours, we have still gotten a chance to do these awesome, intimate shows. We want to share this with everyone. A lot of our fans used to go to house shows all the time, some have never been. You’ll be inches from our faces. It’ll be sweaty. It’ll get loud.

The plan is to play anywhere and everywhere we can. Even multiple shows in a day if we can. Acoustic sets will also make an appearance quite a bit. Before we set up a routing (we plan to cover as much of the US as we can), we need to know where the best places are. We have a lot of great contacts already, but please email  [email protected]  and let us know if you can help set something up. Even if you can’t host a full-on houseshow, maybe an afternoon acoustic set in your living room can happen. We’ll be filming the whole thing. Down to try everything. Trying to start in mid-late October and end in late November.

See you in the basement,

The Swellers
