Creed have canceled the remaining 20 dates of their North American Weathered tour due to a recent car accident involving singer Scott Stapp, a label spokesperson said Monday.
Stapp’s car was struck by another vehicle traveling 60 mph, and his doctors advised him to rest while he recuperates, the spokesman said. Little else is known about the accident, except that it happened in Orlando, Florida, where police officials could not be reached for comment.
The band was scheduled to play Fargo, North Dakota, Monday night. Refunds for all canceled performances are available at point of purchase. Creed plan to resume touring this summer.
