After 12 years, Fear Factory is calling it quits. A statement on RoadRunnerRecords.com says Fear Factory is no longer together as a band. It says last weekend singer Burton Bell sat the band down in their rehearsal studio to announce his intentions of leaving. It says Burton no longer wants to be in the band for personal reasons, and the rest of the band doesn’t want to carry on without him.
They will still record at least one last song together that’s expected to take place in coming weeks. The new recording will appear on the upcoming “Terminator” video game. There are also plans to release the band’s never-heard debut album, “Concrete.”
