P.O.D. Rocks the Net!

Starting November 15, P.O.D. will take the main stage at Warner Bros. Online’s site, www.warnerbros.com, offering fans a behind the scenes look at a rehearsal performance from the band’s “Youth Of The Nation” tour, as they play hits from their RIAA Platinum Certified Album, “Satellite.”

The impressive multi-camera shoot, captured for Warner Bros. Online from a dress rehearsal performance at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, includes special behind the scenes views and incredible visuals as captured by director Kevin Kerslake. Kerslake has established himself as a preeminent music video director, working with such bands as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Rolling Stones and R.E.M.

“Satellite” has been certified platinum, just one month after release, by the RIAA for sales exceeding 1,000,000 units. The album, featuring the hit single “Alive,” spent 6 weeks in the Top 10, debuting at No. 6. “Alive” is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart.

A high-decibel collection of potent cross-cultural power rock, “Satellite” is at turns joyful, provocative, challenging, and utterly real. Co-produced by P.O.D. with Howard Benson, the album is highlighted by such passionate tracks as “Thinking About Forever” and “Youth of the Nation,” which find the band relentlessly reaching heavenward to evoke a sense of positive vibrations unique to today’s rock. P.O.D. is: Sonny – vocals; Marcos – guitars; Traa – bass; and Wuv – drums.

Warner Bros. Online’s Live Concert Series’ most recent cutting-edge Webcast launches include performances by Tori Amos, Eric Clapton, Radiohead, Missy Elliott, Static X, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Lil’ Mo, Stacia and Jack Johnson. Other bands that have worked with Warner Bros. Online for the exclusive Webcast of concerts, music videos or additional song footage include Dido, Neil Young, Green Day, Orgy, Barenaked Ladies and Deftones.
