On the first day of Christmas, Santa better Put Up or Shut Up.
Dear Santa,
It’s been a long year of reunions in 2015. We’ve enjoyed them, and we’ve enjoyed the ten year anniversary tours we got before Christmas. And everyone who went to All Time Low’s Starland Ballroom show REALLY enjoyed seeing Put Up or Shut Up played in full. BUT the majority of us OG Hustlers and ATL boardies watched it go down through Snapchat, Twitter videos, and Instagram posts. The few who had good enough friends to FaceTime them were lucky, Santa. And all any of us want next year, is a chance to see this glorious EP played in full for ourselves. Santa, all I want for Christmas this year is to be promised a Put Up or Shut Up anniversary tour.
I promise to clean my room and buy my own ticket. I won’t even do meet and greet! We want to hear the opening lines of “Break Out! Break Out!” and escape through the windows dancing. We want to salute to “Coffee Shop Soundtrack” and teach a new generation of ATL fans to do so as well.
We can cry to “Running From Lions” and jam out to an acoustic version of “Jasey Rae” (this is a bonus gift). I promise we’ll all behave and only laugh at SOME of the dick jokes in hopes to make it more PG Santa rated. But let’s be real here, Santa, you know you could use a night off from being jolly and appropriate. It’s your chance to relax with the best of us new age pop-punk kids. It’ll for sure be “The Party Scene” you’ve been needing to unwind from the craziness of your Christmas job. All we need is a few dates, a couple of venues, some promises that All Time Low can’t leave until the EP is played in full, and a guarantee of tissues to wipe our tears, and everyday of that tour will feel like Christmas.
Can’t wait to open my impromptu pop-up show under my tree this year!!!
