Incubus Comes Home For Two-Night Stand

Incubus returns home this weekend to Los Angeles to cap off a string of dates in support of its new album, Morning View, with a two-night-stand (December 1-2) at the city’s Universal Amphitheatre. The shows mark the largest by the group as a headliner in front of its hometown crowd.

Meanwhile, Incubus prepares for the release of its second DVD/VHS, When Incubus Attacks, Vol. 2, which arrives December 11. The collection features videos and live performances, as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the Malibu, California mansion where the group recorded Morning View.

Incubus bassist Dirk Lance said he knew he was on to something good during his stay at the mansion. “Every time somebody new would come to the house and they’d want the tour, then you’d have to say, ‘OK, you got a few minutes, ’cause this house is huge?’ And we’d walk around and people’s jaws would just drop when they saw this home, which is actually not that nice of a house, but it was just on a massive scale,” he says. “The property was really cool. But yeah, we’d sit there in the morning some time, look around and go, ‘Sweet Jesus, this is the life!’ It didn’t suck.”
