Dream Street Hits the Road With Aaron Carter in 2002

Dream Street is gearing up to hit the road early next year with Aaron Carter. The Aaron Carter/Dream Street Tour kicks off on January 25th, 2002 in Jacksonville, FL. In addition, Dream Street will warm up to Florida as the opening act for Britney Spears in Tampa, Florida on December 18th, 2001 at the Ice Palace Arena.

Dream Street’s self-titled debut (UEG Records / edel Entertainment July 10th) has sold over 500,000 units and certified gold in just under six months of release. The album debuted at #37 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart and at #1 on Billboard’s Independent Album Chart. The album remains in the Top 100 of Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart.

Hot on the heels of their inaugural smash hit single “It Happens Every Time,” Dream Street’s second single “I Say Yeah” debuted at #3 on Radio Disney’s Top 30 chart. Dream Street now holds the #2 and #3 position on Radio Disney’s Top 30 chart. On November 6th Dream Street released their very first live home video/DVD titled Dream Street LIVE. The video delivers the band’s electrifying live stage performance to adoring young fans. Dream Street LIVE is currently at #37 on Billboard’s Video Chart.

The video for “It Happens Every Time” has been the number one most requested clip on RadioDisney.com. A mainstay of Nickelodeon’s Sound Scoop rotation since August, the video has also won Nick’s Video Pick on Nick.com. AOL Kids recently polled users asking, “Which of the Upcoming Artists are you most excited about?” Dream Street won with over 58% of the 16,000 polled participants.
