Crazy Town, Sensefield, and Gorillaz member Dan “The Automator” Nakamura will perform at the Boarding For Breast Cancer’s seventh annual Snowboard & Music Festival, taking place April 14 in South Lake Tahoe, California.
The event will also feature some of the biggest names in professional snowboarding, including 2002 U.S. Olympic Team halfpipe rider Shannon Dunn.
“What could be better than finishing the winter with some insane snowboarding in Tahoe while performing at one of the coolest benefits,” says Crazy Town’s Epic Mazur.
Crazy Town will serve as the headliner for the event, which is being produced by Sensefield guitarist Chris Evenson. “My mom died from breast cancer almost four years ago and it is a horrible disease,” Evenson says. “If Boarding For Breast Cancer can raise awareness, raise funds, and maybe prevent someone else’s mother or daughter or girlfriend from getting this disease, it’s something we are proud to be a part of.”
More than $1 million has been raised for breast cancer educational programs by the Boarding For Breast Cancer event and other related initiatives.
