Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink have hooked up for a cover of LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” for the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge.
The track, produced by Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott and Rockwilder, will be the first single from the Interscope Records soundtrack to the film, due April 24. In addition to “Lady Marmalade,” the album also includes tracks by Beck, Fatboy Slim, Timbaland, and Ozzy Osbourne, among others.
Produced by Strictly Ballroom’s Baz Luhrman, Moulin Rouge stars Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman. Twentieth Century Fox will release the film April 27 in New York and Los Angeles with national distribution to follow in May.
