As the nation asks “What more can we give?,” many of the world’s greatest performers are teaming with Clear Channel Entertainment for a star-studded music spectacular, “United We Stand,” to raise money in support of the recovery efforts from the September 11th attack on America. The eight-hour music festival will be held Sunday, October 21, at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC, beginning at 1:00 pm EST. Confirmed artists include Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, James Brown, Al Green, Ricky Martin, Kiss, Rod Stewart, P. Diddy, Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Destiny’s Child, Usher and many more.

Additional artists will be announced as they are confirmed. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 12, and will be available here at CC.com. They will be priced at $25, $50 and $75 (plus applicable charges). Show time is 1:00 pm; doors will open at 11:00 am.

All money raised from “United We Stand” will benefit the American Red Cross Relief Fund, the Pentagon Relief Fund and The Salvation Army Relief Fund.

“Music is a common language that brings people together in times of triumph and sadness,” said Clear Channel Entertainment Chairman and CEO Brian Becker, the producers of the show. “We support the President’s call for unity and are extremely proud to contribute in any way we can to help these stellar artists raise money to assist in recovery efforts and to show their support for the military who are risking their lives for our safety.”

Clear Channel Entertainment President – Music, Mid-Atlantic Region Larry Magid will executive produce “United We Stand.” Among his production credits is 1985’s “Live Aid.”

In addition to “United We Stand,” Clear Channel Entertainment produced the “Stand Up New York” comedy festival starring Jerry Seinfeld on October 9th, and will oversee the October 20 “Concert for the Americas” at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the “Country Freedom Concert” in Nashville on October 21.
