Christina Aguilera will sing a new song for the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics, but Gloria Estefan is sticking to the hits. Aguilera says on her Web site she’ll unveil a new song, “Infatuation,” from her upcoming CD. The song will not be the first single off the album, but Aguilera describes it as an “exciting sneak preview.”
Estefan plans to do a medley of her hits during the ceremonies, according to her Web site. Estefan’s no stranger to the Olympics. Her song “Reach” was the theme for the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.
Harry Connick Jr. will perform while skater Ilia Kulik and dancer Savion Glover have a “ice and tap challenge.” Other performers include Bon Jovi; Earth, Wind and Fire; Moby; and ‘N Sync. The closing ceremonies are Sunday.
