idobi.com Presents: Charlotte Sands’ New Song “Bad Day”

The lyrics everyone
will be singing:

I had a no good, really bad, messed up day
And I’m stressed out, super sad, not ok
I’m never getting better
No, it’s not a phase
And I like it that way”

Having one of those days? Cancel all your plans and get ready to lose yourself in Charlotte Sands’ new song “Bad Day”. You can hear it premiering in full all day on idobi Radio—but for now, here’s a sneak peek.

“‘Bad Day’ is about accepting your lows and any negative feelings that we experience throughout our lives without guilt or judgement,” Charlotte says. The song is meant to be played with the volume turned all the way up as you work out your feelings through the punchy beat and defiant lyrics.

“‘Bad Day’ is about accepting your lows and any negative feelings that we experience throughout our lives without guilt or judgement.”

The track takes you into Charlotte’s head for a moment of pure emotion, the messy kind where you just wanna throw your middle fingers up and forget about the world. “Whenever I’m upset, I’m so used to going in depth trying to find the root of each feeling when sometimes I just want to feel the surface level version of it,” she continues. You can definitely feel that IDGAF energy radiating in every stomping guitar riff, every pounding drumbeat, every spitfire line.

“I want to be able to be angry and not know why, I want to allow myself to be frustrated without automatically telling myself to get over it or reminding myself how to work through it.” And you will be totally here for it—“Bad Day” is here to tell you to let go and revel in how you’re feeling because sometimes you’ve gotta admit you’re not okay.

“Every feeling is valid and sometimes to get over things we have to go through them head on,” she says. We’ll mosh to that—hit play and get your “Bad Day” fired up.
